Description: The project includes planning, design, and construction of eleven new injection wells which will provide a sea water intrusion barrier and will protect drinking water supply wells in the cities of Manhatten Beach and Hermosa Beach. The Project will also include destruction of eight existing injection wells, which have reached their useful life and may cause subsidence or aquifer cross contamination.
