Project: Yosemite Unified School District Water System Upgrade - Construction Project

Description: The Yosemite High School has three wells. Only Well 1 is active and has a compliance order for Uranium and is under the influence of surface water. The other sources are inactive due to exceedance of arsenic and fluoride MCL. The project consists of consolidating with neighboring Hillview WS and separation of potable from irrigation systems on campus. Project Objective The objective of the Project is to provide safe drinking water to Yosemite High School. The Recipient has three wells all with water quality violations in non-compliance with the primary maximum contaminate levels. The objective will be met by supplying water to the school by connection to Hillview Water Company, and separation of the domestic connections from the to minimize the costs of purchased water for the school. Irrigation water will be provided by the existing wells. Scope of Work: The Recipient shall consolidate with neighboring Hillview Water Company and separation of potable and irrigation systems on campus. Components of the Project include pipelines, tanks, pumps, and associated appurtances.
