Project: Westley CSD Metering - Construction Project

Description: The proposed construction project will consist of the installation of new ¾-inch water meters and new corp stops on new service laterals throughout the existing water distribution system. Replacement of the existing water valves will improve the system operation and maintenance. The installation of master meters at the two distribution mains to the service area will allow the WCSD to quantify water usage and unaccounted for water losses from the system. Replacement of service laterals and corp stops will allow for better regulation of individual water usage by WCSD. Installation of individual water meters will allow WCSD to track customer water usage and promote conservation through implementation of a consumption-based billing structure.
