Project: City of Modesto- North Valley Regional Recycled Water Program

Description: The North Valley Regional Recycled Water Program (NVRRWP) will convey tertiary-level treated recycled water from the City of Modesto to the Delta-Mendota Canal for agricultural use by the Del Puerto Water District and for wildlife refuge use by United States Bureau of Reclamation. The City will construct improvements to their existing pump station at the Jennings Road Water Quality Control Facility, and will construct approximately 32,000 linear feet of 42-inch-diameter pipeline extending from the pump station to the DMC. The project will increase recycled water supplies to DPWD by 16,500 acre-feet per year within the first 5 year of operation and 30,600 acre-feet per year at buildout.
