Project: Verdugo Basin Stormwater Recharge Facility Study

Description: The proposed project is to conduct a Study to evaluate the feasibility of using portionsof CVC Park to recharge stormwater runoff. Objectives include: • Install surface water gauging stations in the CVC Park; • Monitor surface water that would be diverted for groundwater recharge; • Assess soil conditions through monitoring wells and percolation tests; • Conduct site surveys; • Conduct groundwater modeling; • Establish a Task Force to guide and support the Study
