This project involved evaluation of levees in an attempt to identify critical issues that required resolution prior to FEMA accredidation. The evaluation determined that there were issues with storm drain outlets located on the levee side slopes lacking closure devices, seepage through the transitional grouted riprap revetment near drop structure, a sink hole at the top of the levee possibly caused by breakage of a PVC pipe underneath, vegetation and debris removal, a 12-inch diameter hole at the invert of the concrete outlet structure.
