Project: San Diego IRWMP Grant Proposal

Description: The proposed updates to the existing IRWM Plan will address the activities needed to bring the Plan in line with the State’s IRWM Plan Standards. Planning studies will address water quality improvement, implementation of Salinity and Nutrient Management Guidelines, improved connections between water management and land use planning, and clarification of integrated flood management for the arid San Diego Region. The Plan will define a long-term governance and financing structure and compile a climate change analysis.
