Project: Imperial IRWMP

Description: The proposal develops an IRWM Plan to help the Imperial Region meet the defined objectives, to better manage the Colorado River supplies and local groundwater, prevent local conflicts, and ensure the beneficial uses of water by all users. The Plan will prioritize projects for groundwater banking to store Colorado River water, desalination of brackish groundwater or drain water, reclamation of wastewater, and exchange of water within the region to meet the water supply and quality needs of the area.
