The Council of Watershed Health will develop a Disadvantaged Community (DAC) Outreach plan for the Greater Los Angeles County (GLAC) Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) Group. The Disadvantaged Community Outreach Evaluation Program will develop a needs assessment framework and conducts targeted outreach to engage with disadvantaged communities (DACs) and gain their meaningful participation in the integrated regional water management process. The needs assessment will identify specific groups in each DAC who will engage with the GLAC-IRWM effort. Technical assistance will benefit DACs through development of projects that meet critical needs.
