Project: Sweetwater River (SWR)

Description: The project consists of a flood control channel lying between a divided freeway. The improved channel is approximately 3.4 miles long and consists of about 3,000 feet of trapezoidal leveed channel with earth bottom and stone reveted side slopes. Stone drop-structure stabilizers were constructed across the bottom of the excavated channel.
