Project: Alluvial Fan Floodplain Evaluation and Delineation Program

Description: AFFED Program will develop preliminary flood and sediment hazards maps for alluvial fan areas in Southern California ten-counties. The program will target alluvial fan areas subject to future development within the next 25 years. It will also include coordination with the local communities, the Alluvial Fan Task Force (AFTF), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to identify high priority areas for future development.
