Project: Carmel River Floodplain and Environmental Enhancement Project

Description: Construction of a 520-foot flood bypass or causeway under State Hwy 1, remove approximately 2,900 linear feet of non-engineered farm levees in conjunction with lowering the south bank farm levee elevation along the south bank of the Carmel River, remove blister at north-east portion of property, and re-contour farm levees on eastern edge of property. Total project amount includes State support costs for project implementation.
