Project: San Francisco Stormwater & Flood Management Priority Projects

Description: The Project involves the construction of the following 2 components: 1) construction of a new sewer tunnel and upstream sewer pipelines to convey wet weather flows from the Sunnydale Avenue/Talbert Street area to the Sunnydale Transport/Storage structure to reduce flooding in upstream areas, and 2) construction of a new auxiliary sewer beneath Cesar Chavez Street, west of US101 and rehabilitation of adjacent existing sewer pipelines. Once improvements to the sewer system are completed, a number of low impact design streetscape improvements will be implemented.
