Project: San Ramon Canyon Stormwater Flood Reduction Project

Description: The Project consists of the construction of a storm drain that begins with a mid-canyon inlet structure connected to a shoreline outfall below the oceanfront bluffs. The storm drain conveys flows from the inlet structure southwesterly through a tunnel approximately 1,900-feet in length. From there, the next 1,700-feet of the storm drain will be standard open trench. The final 300-feet of pipe from the bluff top to the beach will run in a 38% sloped “slant drain” tunnel to an outlet structure located at the base of the bluff.
