Project: San Lorenzo River (SLOR)

Description: The San Lorenzo River Project is located on the lower 2.5 miles of San Lorenzo River, which terminates at the Pacific Ocean. The project consists of floodwalls on top of various portions of the San Lorenzo River levees, levee toe drains, a controlled overflow channel dredging, flood proofing and habitat restoration measures. A reevaluation of the current river flow capacity is ongoing and may require additional levee height and/ or dredging.
