Project: Sutter County Feasibility Study

Description: The Sutter County Feasibility Study will investigate measures to improve the level of flood protection for the Yuba City Basin urban and urbanizing areas to a 200-year level of protection and an appropriate level of flood protection for non-urban areas.The purpose of the study is to identify a feasible project to improve approximately 41 miles of levess along the Feather River and reduce the probability of flooding for approximately 88,000 people. The recommended project will incorporate the Local Feather River West Levee Project which is presently being implemented under the State's Early Implementation Plan. Total project amount includes State support costs for project implementation.
