Project: SAFCA, Sacramento River East Levee Project formerly SAFCA, NLIP,CO-EIP- Natomas Levee Improvement Program

Description: Funding was provided for the Sacramento River East Levee to improve 12.5 miles of levee to assist in providing a 200 year level of flood protection. The project entails improving the levee system by constructing cutoff walls and levee strenthening and reshapping features for segments 1 through 12A for reaches B and C.
