Project: Elder Creek Sediment Removal

Description: Elder Creek Sediment Removal project is part of a series of sediment removal projects that will improve the conveyance of the flood management system. Completing these projects will reduce flood risks (specifically restoring the channel capacity to pass design flood flows with required freeboard ) while addressing flood control, operations, maintenance, and habitat issues for the long term sustainability of the flood management system. 12.15 Mitigation credits will be utilized from the Bullock Bend bank project (3860-P1E-911) to mitigate for salmonid habitat impacts.
