Project: Hamilton and Bel Marin Keys Wetland Restoration Implementation

Description: Restoration of wetlands at Hamilton and Bel Marin Keys. Implementation of the wetland restoration project by Army Corps of Engineers. The Hamilton Wetland Restoration Project restored one square mile of tidal and seasonal wetlands on the site of a former military airfield in Marin County. The project accomplished the multi-objective goals of: wetland restoration; beneficial reuse of dredged sediment; clean-up and reuse of a former military property, and construction of trails and other public access improvements.
