Description: (Erik Grijalva) Regionally coordinated effort to eradicate populations of Spartina densiflora in the San Francisco Estuary. S. densiflora is an invasive, exotic species of cordgrass, the spread of which adversely alters native wetland ecosystems throughout the Bay region. Projects are on land owned by various entities including public, private and nonprofit entities.
