Project: Salt River Ecosystem Restoration Project: Williams Creek Restoration Planning

Description: Grant to the Humboldt County Resource Conservation District to prepare restoration designs for Upper Williams Creek, a flood prone tributary of the Salt River. The project will extend the footprint of the Salt River Ecosystem Restoration Project beyond its original footprint to address chronic flooding and sediment deposition in the Upper Williams creek watershed, which contains approximately half of the Salt River flow.
