Project: Herlong PUD - West Patton Water System - Construction Project

Description: The Project will replace the existing water distribution system in the West Patton Village area and install approximately 8,469 linear feet (LF) of 8-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe, 430 LF of 10-inch PVC pipe, 28 8-inch gate vales, 2 10-inch gate valves, and 156 water service meters. The Project will address the 60-year-old water distribution system in the West Patton Village area that has exceeded it’s useful life, has limited hydraulic capacity to adequately meet current fire flows, has significant leakage, and consists of asbestos concrete which makes it difficult to maintain.
