Project: Country Club Heights Erosion Control Project - Phase 3 (Implementation)

Description: The Country Club Heights Erosion Control Project – Phase 3 (Project) will achieve multiple benefits by restoring 1.5 acres of stream environment zone adjacent to the Upper Truckee River and improving public access. To implement the Project, El Dorado County will: 1) remove asphalt and fill to construct an infiltration basin to treat storm water runoff prior to it reaching the River; 2) remove historical fill material from the Upper Truckee River floodplain; and 3) construct a decomposed granite path from the parking lot to the River that complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design. The County expects to begin implementation in summer 2021 and complete construction in one season.
