Project: Sonoma State Historic Park: Interpretive improvements for Casa Grande Site, Servants Quarters and Toscano Hotel

Description: Create and implement an interpretive service plan for the Casa Grande site and servants quarters and Toscano Hotel Complex.  The plan will include: a large, walk-around 3-dimensional model to interpret the Casa Grande and other period buildings along with various themes related to the site and the early history of Sonoma. Install interpretive displays/ house museum vignettes in the ground floor area of the servants quarters that can be viewed by visitors standing at the various doorways to the structure. Facility modernization for servants quarters, hotel annex, tank house including ramps for accessibility, floor covering, interior repairs, window repair/replacement, utilities, internet access, lighting, and security systems as appropriate. Convert the first floor of the Toscano Tank House into an exhibit space for interpreting the Toscano Hotel Complex, the park and related themes.
