Funding for this project will be used to complete the planning steps necessary to implement a large-scale restoration effort throughout the Tijuana River Valley Regional Park in San Diego County to address the invasive plant populations and subsequent environmental issues created as a result. The goals of the Project are to develop a Habitat Restoration Plan, obtain necessary regulatory permits, and obtain environmental clearance pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Upon completion of the project, this large-scale restoration effort would be ready for implementation as part of a future phase.
