Objective: The Kings Basin Water Authority (also known as the Upper Kings Basin IRWM Authority) has prepared this application for six high priority projects to help the region reach groundwater sustainability and provide safe, clean, affordable and accessible water for multiple Disadvantaged Communities. The combined projects will provide an estimated 14,518 acre-feet per year of groundwater recharge, as well as meet several other IRWMP Goals and Objectives including increased storage, conservation, improving water quality, drought preparedness, and others. FID Wagner Recharge Basin, CID Adams & Academy Basin, FMFCD Basin SS Groundwater Recharge Flood Protection Project, FMFCD Basin CE Groundwater Recharge Flood Protection Project, FMFCD Basin CF Groundwater Recharge Flood Protection Project, and LID Laton North Recharge Project.
