Objective: The Proposal includes projects from across the Region, meeting various critical needs of different communities. This suite of projects realizes State Priorities 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7 of Section 1 and meets the intent of Water Code Section 10531 (a), (b), (c) and implements (d). These consensus top 5 projects, along with grant administration, were selected from among 13 projects submitted by RWMG members within the Region for this funding opportunity as the result of a months-long public process by the Region's RWMG. In the Central Coast Funding Area (CCFA), coordination is regular and very productive. In implementing the Prop 1 DAC-Involvement Program, CCFA members have shared information and lessons learned throughout the needs assessment process as well as with preparations for this Prop 1 Implementation grant opportunity.
