Project: Putah-Cache Watershed Arundo Eradication Program, Phase 1

Description: Restoration for the purpose of stream flow enhancement in Yolo County. This project will collaborate with local partners, local agencies, and contractors to treat Arundo donax and other invasive riparian species such as salt cedar with the intent to eradicate arundo from the watershed, thus releasing the excessive water it uses for enhanced stream flow and improving the quality of the riparian habitat.
