Project: Corte Madera Creek Salmonid Fish Passage Project

Description: The Conservancy provided a grant to the Friends of Corte Madera Creek to develop 35% designs to improve fish passage conditions for adult steelhead and coho salmon in a 3,100-foot long channelized portion of Corte Madera Creek in Marin County. This proposed “Corte Madera Creek Salmonid Passage Project” (Project) addresses fish passage from the Math-Science-Nursing (MSN) Bridge on the College of Marin (COM) campus to the upstream end of the concrete channel at the existing but inadequate and even detrimental Denil fish ladder.
