Project: Southern California Edison Catalina (Avalon) Salt Water Well, Desalination Facility, Storage & Distribution System

Description: The project will install additional Salt Water System wells, implement Desalination Facility improvements by installing pre- and post-RO treatment equipment and controls, and enable the existing Wrigley Reservoir to store desalinated water by improve the existing pipeline for bidirectional flow and pumping station installation. The project estimates to add 94 to 156 AF of desalination production per year and increase the desalination capacity to achieve 56 to 100 percent of future customer demand.
