Project: Salt Point State Park: Restore Coastal Prairie (Area 1)

Description: Restore coastal prairie habitat from Horseshoe Cove to Fisk Mill Cove. Eradicate exotic species including fennel, thistle, hemlock, fireweed, iceplant and bush lupine. Eradicate invading brush and tree species. Maintain through periodic Rx fire, mechanical and chemical control.
