Project: Cuyamaca Rancho State Park: Mixed Conifer Forest Restoration - Phase II

Description: Continuation of earlier DMPN Project (PID# 158320), which initiated reforestation efforts in aftermath of Cedar Fire. 300 acres were planted with Jeffrey, Coulter and Sugar Pines in that effort and over $520K in private contributions have been received to continue the project, but restrictions on the use of the money for the purchase and planting of the trees. This project will provide matching funds for staff and administrative support to plant an additional 900 acres over three years.
