The Project will result in Grantee’s acquisition of a perpetual conservation easement over approximately 551 acres of land commonly known as Hollitz Ranch and Mckinney Ranch. Funding for this Project will be used to acquire the Conservation Easement to ensure the Property will be preserved in its natural state as a working cattle ranch that possesses unique scenic, agricultural, historical, upland and wetland wildlife habitat and open-space conditions and used for the purposes of wildlife habitat preservation, management, and potential future restoration; wildlife-oriented education and research. The Conservation Values of the Properties include rangeland, irrigated pasture, adjudicated water rights, upland, riparian, and mountain meadow habitats, streams, and scenic vistas.
