This project will develop data structures for microplastics in the California Enviornmental Data Exchange Network (CEDEN), which is a the primary database for water quality inforamtion in California and a "lessons learned" webinar on microplastics data collection and analysis for interested stakeholders.
San Francisco Estuary Institute
This project will ensure that the full scope of microplsatics data will be available in CEDEN. CEDEN currently has a rudimentary format and vocabulary for microplastics data, which does not meaningfully represent the types of microplastic pollution found in the environment. This project will enable CEDEN to better record the types of pollution found in the enviornment.
