Project: Duxbury Reef ASBS and Point Reyes Headlands ASBS Source Control Project

Description: The project will replace the Agate Beach asphalt parking lot with porous concrete;relocate two portable bathrooms from the creek bank and restore the riparian area with native plants;install a berm and overflow tank around the portable bathrooms for spill containment;replace the paved trailhead with pervious decomposed granite;implement grazing management treatments, including fencing, a cattle guard, and a minor headcut repair, and will replace the stairs (pressure treated wood will be replaced with untreated wood) at the Sea Lion overlook;conduct a two-phase project to assess, design and implement approximately three priority stormwater network improvement projects such as bioretention cells; and monitor project effectiveness.
