Description: Development of "trailheads" for the San Francisco Bay Area Water Trail. The San Francisco Bay Area Water Trail is a planned network of access sites, or “trailheads,” around the San Francisco Bay shoreline designed to help people using non-motorized small boats or boards (collectively referred to as “NMSBs”) safely access the San Francisco Bay.
