Project: French Meadows Prescribed Fire Project

Description: This project is a major collaborative effort for large-scale restoration of the French Meadows Reservoir watershed on the Tahoe National Forest. It consists of two treatment areas totaling 654 acres and includes site preparation through hand thinning, creation of fire containment lines, and deployment of fire engines and fire management crews.
