Project: Big Chico Creek Forest Health Management Plan

Description: The project will develop a Forest Health Management Plan on 7,939 acres of mixed conifer forests within the Big Chico Creek Watershed and draft CEQA documentation for future thinning of overgrown fuels and 1,500 acres of prescribed burning. The project location is upstream from the town of Chico and adjacent to the community of Forest Ranch.
