Project: Sierra Valley Wetlands/Wet Meadows Conservation Project-Church Ranch

Description: The Project will result acquisition of a Conservation Easement over approximately 648 acres of land commonly known as Church Ranch, located in the County of Sierra, California. The Property shall be preserved in its natural state as a working cattle ranch that possesses unique scenic, agricultural, historical, upland and wetland wildlife habitat and open-space conditions and used for the purposes of wildlife habitat preservation, management, and potential future restoration; wildlife-oriented education and research; and compatible public or private uses, all as may be consistent with wildlife habitat preservation and protection of sensitive biological resources, including, without limitation, the significant natural, scenic, open-space, wildlife habitat, and agricultural values
