Project: Butte Creek Diversion 55 Fish Screen Project-Implementation

Description: Family Water Alliance, Inc. will oversee and manage construction of a fish screen system to minimize take offish at diversion number 55 on Butte Creek (Butte Creek Diversion 55). This section of Butte Creek provides habitat for many special status species, including the State and federally threatened spring-run Chinook salmon. The Project will protect the spring-run and fall run Chinook salmon fisheries and steelhead fishery in Butte Creek by installing a stateof-the-art screen system at the Butte 55 water diversion.
