Project: Bees Lakes Habitat Restoration Plan

Description: The project will identify opportunities to reintroduce tidal inundation within the Bees Lakes area, to expand the area of riparian habitat connected to the river, and to explore the potential to introduce native fish into the restored lands. The primary project objectives are to develop a range of habitat restoration alternatives based on the best available science and stakeholder input, to select a stakeholder-supported habitat restoration plan that enhances physical and ecological processes, to complete California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and to prepare 65% design plans with sufficient detail to qualify for an implementation project grant.
