Project: Soquel Creek WD Pure Water GW Replenishment and Seawater Intrusion Prevention - Planning Project

Description: Project will prevent seawater intrusion in Purisima Formation and Aromas Red Sands aquifers by injecting recycled water. Project includes: 1) CEQA environmental review and prepare/certify EIR; 2) Geo-technical/physical/chemical investigations and surveying work of potential injection well sites; 3) Anti-degradation evaluation and groundwater flow and transport analysis; 4) Modeling of ability of aquifers to recover; 5) Update modeling; 7) 30% injection well design; and 8) Update an existing FS.
