Project: Mulholland Drive Pre-Acquisition Planning

Description: Project planning and design services in the Mulholland Drive Scenic Corridor and Griffith Park Wildlife Corridor, which includes portions of the upper Los Angeles River watershed, and coastal watersheds of the Santa Monica Bay. This grant is for costs and staff time to pursue every possible opportunity in the City of Los Angeles entitlement process to secure deed restrictions, conservation easements, and trail easements to achieve a permanently functioning wildlife corridor, high quality habitat blocks, and the Mulholland Specific Plan mandated core trail. The Mulholland Scenic Corridor and Griffith park Wildlife Corridor between the Griffith Park and Woodland Hills areas, the bulk of the work performed under this grant would take place between the 405 and 101 Freeways (Sepulveda Pass to Cahuenga Pass).
