Project: San Dieguito River Riparian Habitat Restoration, Augmentation

Description: The allocation for an amendment to an existing grant to River Partners for a cooperative project with the City of San Diego (City) to restore 100± acres of riparian and oak woodland habitat on City property located approximately 2 miles upstream of Lake Hodges, near Escondido in San Diego County. This augmentation will allow for the use of more labor intensive restoration techniques that will preserve habitat for the endangered arroyo toad.
