Project: Tribal Engagement

Description: The IRWM Grant Program would be administered by DWR under it's Water Conservation Bond Law Program, in conjunction with DWRs Office of Tribal Policy Advisor. DWRs WCBLP oversees a collection of general obilgation bond-funded loan and grant programs assisting local agencies in the acquisition and construction of voluntary, cost-effective, capital outlay, water conservation, and groundwater recharge facilities projects and in the development of new local water supply projects. The Office of Tribal Policy Advisor was established to better facilitate effective government-to-government consultation with Tribal governments and Tribal communitites.
