During the feasibility study, WRESD drilled a test hole to obtain more information about the groundwater quality of water-producing zones. Two zones were identified as producing water with arsenic concentrations below the arsenic MCL. The construction project includes the development of the test hole into a production well, and connecting the new groundwater source, Well #2, to the school’s existing water system. The school’s existing well, Well #1, will remain and be maintained as a backup emergency source.
