Project: Napa River Watershed Urban Stream Enhancement Project

Description: The Napa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District will implement urban streambank enhancement projects within the Napa River Watershed and partner with Napa RCD and Youth Corps to implement urban riparian planting projects. The goals of the streambank enhancements were to reduce sediment delivery associated with ongoing bank erosion, improve ecological function, and enhance the public’s interaction with and understanding of streams.
