This Project will complete the fee-title acquisition of 251.63 acres of floodplain lands from a private seller for the purposes of future wildlife habitat restoration, improved habitat for spring-run Chinook Salmon, improved flood management for nearby disadvantaged communities, improved groundwater recharge, and improved water quality in the San Joaquin River.
Objectives of the Project is Grantee's acquisition of fee title to approximately 251.63 acres of land known as Mendonca Dairy, located in Stanislaus County, with corresponding ecosystem and watershed protection benefits.
