Project: Optimizing Real-Time Management of Surface and Sub-Surface Drainage Return Flows From Seasonally Managed Wetlands in the San Joaquin River Basin

Description: The project comprises three main components. Phases 1 and 2 will upgrade and expand the existing real-time sensor network that has been successfully operated for the past decade but now obsolete due to technology advances and changes in corporate ownership. The third phase will improve surface and subsurface drainage forecasting to improve estimation of of SJR salt assimilative capacity.
