Project: Butterfly Twain Fuels and Forest Health Project

Description: The project will complete hand and mechanical thinning actions on 454.9 acres of Wildland Urban Interface characterized by overcrowded mixed-conifer forests with high ground and ladder fuels to reduce the average number of trees per acre, resulting in forest conditions that will allow regular under burning, maintaining desired conditions in perpetuity.
